LYNCH LAKE FLYING CLUB, INC.

 

By-Laws and Flying Rules

By-Laws

 

The club will have five officers including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Maintenance Manager.

An annual meeting will be held in January of each year.

A quorum of officers shall consist of a simple majority.

A quorum of voting members shall consist of a simple majority.

All members of this club must provide the Secretary a signed acceptance of the current By-Laws and Flying Rules, stating the type of membership held.

The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping a roster of current members by type.

The flying time rate, dues, and fees to be paid by members shall be set from time to time by the equity members. All members will be billed for a minimum of one hour of flight time per month to encourage pilot proficiency.

The Treasurer shall be responsible for keeping a current rate, dues, and fee schedule.

This club shall contain two types of membership as defined below:

 

Equity Membership

Equity members shall have a financial interest in the club equal to the capital of the club divided by the number of equity members.

Equity membership benefits include ownership, reduced hourly flying rates, voting rights at all club meetings, and qualified spousal pilot in command privileges at current equity member rates.

Re-evaluation of the club equity will be done at each annual meeting, and at other times, as the club officers deem necessary.

The club officers must approve a new equity membership.

All new equity members must pay the cost in cash to the club treasury.

An equity member may withdraw from the club by selling his/her equity membership to a person approved by the club officers.

Provided that there will be at least ten equity memberships remaining in the club, an equity member may also withdraw from the club by selling his/her interest to the club for 2/3 of its current value.

Non-Equity Membership

Non-equity members have no voting rights but are encouraged to stay informed by attending club meetings and being involved in club activities.

The clubs officers must approve acceptance of non-equity members.

Non-equity members must pay an initial non-refundable membership fee and a refundable deposit upon acceptance into the club.

Higher hourly flying rates will apply to non-equity members.

Non-equity members may withdraw from the club at any time and will be refunded their deposit less any outstanding flight fees or dues owed.

 

These By-Laws and Flying Rules may be amended by a 2/3 vote of equity members.

 

Flying Rules

 

Deliberate violation of any of the following flying rules or FAA regulations is punishable by removal from the club with no remuneration.

All pilots must meet FAA currency and endorsement requirements and meet all minimum insurance endorsement and experience requirements prior to flying any club airplane.

Each member shall comply with all pertinent FAA regulations in addition to the regulations and rules of airports being used.

No person shall be under the influence of any drug, alcohol, or other substance that impairs the pilot while operating club aircraft.

No one shall perform aerobatics in club aircraft.

Shooting firearms from any club aircraft is prohibited.

No club aircraft may be used to fly for hire.
